How do women feel when men acknowledge crushes *they* have on movie stars? I find most women want to "dismiss" men's crushes as infantile "somethings"... isn't there a little goose/gander dilemma there?
I actually trust women (for the most part) not to conflate their "idealized" image of movie stars with their every day relations. I don't have to compete directly with George Clooney or Brad Pitt or JDM or Russell Crowe... but don't most women feel they need to (try to) compete with the Angelina Jolie or Raquel Welch or (ugh!) Kim Kardashians of the world?

I'm not a typical woman as I don't often have crushes on celebs. In fact, this is the first in years. It's more admiring his overall attractiveness that appeals to me. I wouldn't jump into bed with him, even if I had the chance. I think men (and a lot of women) are different in that they would jump into bed with their crush.
