I Don't Do Drugs, Drugs Do Me

I love me friend i really want to help her out. She struggle with drugs shes practical addicted, everytime were together hanging out she trys to stop like every hour to smoke or have a beer. The last time a talk to her was like a month and she look more sick. She said that the doctor said that she may have a kidney problem. How do i help her i really want to save her. Shes been saying she wants to stop but then shes back to square one again. Maybe there healier alcohols she can use like wine.

I used to be like your friend, and it's more of a thing that she has to do on her own, its not really something that someone else can do for them. You can say, "I wanna get better" but you can say that without actually having any drive to do so. Its really easy to get caught in your head and just feel completely alone in what you're going through so I think you should just make sure that she feels like she doesn't feel alone and knows that you're there for her.
