I Feel So Alone

Sometimes, in the stillness of the night, this crushing feeling of alonness hits me. A void that can't be filled by my family or friends. On occasions I can escape it by submerging myself in one of my many hobbies. But, there are nights like tonight, when I crave something more. I do not know what it is exactly. But, I dream of the day when this feeling will end. For now, I live with it as best I can.

I feel the same way a lot of the time. It sucks, I throw myself into hobbies, projects, and whatnot, but my loneliness stems from some health issues that keep me pretty restricted, so I'm not exactly a social butterfly. Always trying to forget my problems and work myself to death lol.

I hope the health issue is not too serious. Thank you for sharing your story. You made me realize with your comment I'm also on the path of working myself to death. But, I really want to change the way I'm living. I'm just not sure how yet.
