4meandyou's Acidentally Delicious Pork Steaks

4 large bone-in pork steaks, 1/2" thick
Olive oil for searing
2 cans Campbell's golden mushroom soup
garlic powder
fresh ground pepper
salt
4 or 6 scallions, chopped.

Preheat oven to 350 fahrenheit. Heat oil on medium in a huge skillet while you are seasoning the pork steaks with garlic powder and freshly ground pepper, generously.

Sear the pork steaks 1 minute on each side. Adjust heat up so you will get a good brown sear if necessary.

Spray a 14" x 10" large baking pan with cooking spray. Place the seared pork steaks in the baking pan, and cover with 2 cans condensed undiluted Campbell's golden mushroom soup.

Bake covered 45 minutes.

Remove from oven, and sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the pork steaks. There will be a lot of liquid in the pan. Reserve your liquid to make soup the next day.

Lift steaks out, leaving the majority of the liquid. Sprinkle each steak to taste with salt, and serve. These pair very nicely with buttered and brown sugared mashed sweet potatoes or yams.

Accidentally? A jury would never let you off so easily. This recipe is damning evidence of premeditated deliciousness!
