I Grew Up In the 90's

The second half of my growing years, and what a decade it was.

1990: Became a teen
1992: Had a wonderful quinceanera (15th birthday party)
1994: Kicked a bully's ass
1995: Turned 18
1996 Graduated high school and started college
1997: Started dating
1998: Turned 21 and had my first drink
1999: Lost a friend to suicide and almost dropped out of college.

from 88 to 99.
I always took suicide very seriously and so sorry you lost your friend. 😢

We all grew up by living our life outside the House away from gizmos and in the nature.

@wintersecret Thanks. My parents didn't have that much money and they chose not to spend it on most of the modern technology that was popular at the time, with the exception of video games. They said that if it wasn't a necessity then they weren't going to buy it 🤷‍♀️. They finally gave in though and bought a VCR in 1991 😅.
