I Need a Damn Job

The company i have an interview with text me saying they will hire me on the spot.
I feel like either she desperate for workers or the one refrence I had was pretty good.

Either way im happy i got a job. Even if im not exactly where i want to be yet, its a step towards somewhere.

Nice! The same thing happened to me, and I accepted a job where I was being paid an obscenely small wage. I needed to work though. In the following 2 months, I was given 3 raises. So, even if they low-ball your wages, take it and prove your worth, and ask for more money. You've got this.

After I showed them, and continue to show them, I asked for more money.

Congrats! I felt the same way when I got my job. I thought my interview went horrible but they were impressed by my academic resume. Less than 10 minutes after I left the interview they called and said I had the job.

@mrmoose I got cut down to 4 hours per week at a job years ago. Then the manager had the NERVE to get mad when I said I couldn't work the weekends due to working a weekend job. I hadn't worked a single weekend in 5 months and all of a sudden you schedule me because holidays are coming up? No thanks. I quit soon after and went full time at the weekend job
