How to find what you're looking for, or at least how it just about always seems to work for me:
Step 1: Look for it for 2 hours
Step 2: Not find it
Step 3: Get frustrated, say "Screw it" and do something else
Step 4: forget almost completely about whatever it was you were looking for.
Step 5: Wait a few days.
Step 6: Look for something else and find the original thing in about 5 minutes.
