I Want to Learn Many Languages

Aren't they all beautiful? 🤗 Not only do they serve as a means of communication, but languages also tell a lot about their native speakers. Anyways, I often find myself fantasizing about how would it be to know all of them. Would I be able to understand all the people then? 🤔

I'm currently trying to improve my German skills. I also started learning Italian not so long ago, and only recently set off on the long road to learning Japanese.

So...if anyone's in the mood for practicing some language skills, feel free to drop me a few lines.

I strongly recommend studying one at a time. You're a native English speaker, right? Focus on the German for now. It should come easier. Then once you've achieved conversational level, then take on a romance language like Italian.

@sarabee1995 It's a bit hard when you don't have an opportunity to practice a language with natives. Anyway, thanks for advice.. ☺

UntrueEdFoyer · 36-40, M
@monster007 I'm trying to focus on those three. I'll be happy to help you with what I've learned by now. 😉

@monster007
German - B1
Italian A1
Japanese - just some basic knowledge

I also speak a few Slavic languages

Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian (those three are quite similar), a little bit of Macedonian, and I understand quite well Bulgarian ☺

こんにちは!!
@Scarlet5 Very good. But I do believe こんにちは is the more accepted way. It's still understandable though.

Ah, of course! I just made a typo that I didn’t catch, that’s all but I’ll fix it now @froggtongue
It would be nice to take a formal class. You'd have several others on the same level all helping and practicing with each other.
