The Force Awakens or Rogue One?

Personally I prefer Rogue One for the fact that it induces a satisfying amount of nostalgia and pays good homage to the original trilogy which obviously, is where Star Wars came into existence to begin with.

Also, the battle of Scarif at least for me,as well as some of the other fight scenes that happen in Rogue One were a bit more satisfying to watch then most of the battles in The Force Awakens, although I do like The Force Awakens a fair bit as well admittedly for the roles of Han Solo and Chewbacca as well as the nostalgia that they provide.

Although if I had to pick between the two, personally I have to go with Rogue One.

Force Awakens. Thought Rogue One was a bit to long in the middle but end was amazingly done
