Have you ever watched your favourite childhood movie as an adult?

...and been bitterly disappointed. Never Ending Story bored me and killed a fond memory. There is no way I am watching Watership Down. 馃槣

Watership Down actually holds up, as an adult you can appreciate how unrelentingly brutal it is.

My wife was a big fan of the movie Milo & Otis as a child. She showed it to me a few years ago and it turns out that it was rife with animal abuses and they likely went through several Milos and Otises. So that was a bit of a bummer.

More importantly what about the French presidential candidate not paying taxes

@Goralski: LMFAO!

Full marks for aptness. I am actually a human being and post about non-politics sometimes. 馃槣

Watership Down was a favorite movie in your childhood? 馃槰 That thing gave me nightmares!

@NorthernRoses: It was dark and sad and beautiful. It would probably look shit now.

Personally I was scared of Darleks. When I saw one rocket up the stairs on Dr Who my 8 year old self couldn't sleep well for a month.
Lol, I would prefer to keep those childhood memories as just memories

I loved Old Yeller as a kid and watching it again, I loved it all the Same Way. Especially after having my dogs through the years.

@anotherclone: I haven't heard of the 'adult' version. Whatever floats your boat. I do not judge. ;-)
