Why is Aaron Hernandez brain being held hostage?

Peaceful · F
Studying it for traumatic brain injury from concussions I'd guess.

@Peaceful: Oh yes! Of course. Poor guy...he should have had a good life with that talent. The family wants the brain released...they should get their way...they want to donate it for the reason you mentioned but the coroner won't give it up. I'm starting to wonder if he actually did off himself.
[c=#BF0080]Because of the damage football can do to your brain they're trying to see if there's a relation between the sport and a cause that might make them commit suicide or whatever. Few football players families have donated their brains for research after they committed suicide.[/c]

@Pinkrainbowkisses: Yes. This whole concussion thing...just coming to light...imagine the many guys who's lives were destroyed because of it and no one got it
@Pinkrainbowkisses: yea that and its more mainstream with foot ball players. Far fewer hockey players come forward with these problems.
@Pinkrainbowkisses: very well said and the fact that you even mentioned football makes me happy lol
As a football junkie all I can say is what a waste of talent. Hernandez was developing into one of the best Tight Ends in football but was fucked up off the field just like many other athletes but most not to his sick level.

@GBPackersFan: the guy was a thug pure and simple. he had life in his hands and blew it and got caught.
You mean he's not just hanging around?
