A cheer-me-up movie?

Abrienda · 26-30, F
The Natural(there are always second and even third acts in American life. Fitzgerald really did not know what he was talking about when he wrote there were none in American life).

Groundhog Day (only Americans could have made a movie like that!)

Tombstone (Kurt Russell one. This may seem an odd choice but the ending is uplifting cause in spite of everything friendship and love finally triumphs over evil. Okay but it always cheers me up or maybe I just got a crush on Kurt Russell!)

@Valentine: Sure that was fun - I could think of five more at least!

@Abrienda: I've seen Groundhog Day (classic) but not the other two...

The Natural is beautiful. Robert Redford and Robert Duval...I have these movies on DVD but don't remember the years exactly - I think 1984 or 84 for The Natural and 1991 or 92 for Tombstone. I am a big movie fan.

@Valentine: Terry Jones in drag , with a squeaky voice, was hilarious.😂

@Gossamerwings: Classic comedy. Don't make 'em like that any more, Mrs G :(
