Wait. Was Dr. No from the 60's?
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
Yes.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
1962

@hunkalove: Ok,I pick that one.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: I saw it in a theatre when it was new, I was 13, didn't know what it was, I just went to the movies every Friday night in my small hometown. Mind blown! Been a Bond fan ever since!
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
It's gonna cost 500 coins to change your pick.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: The Bond girl helped too.😏
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@NigelDoes: Mere chump change.
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
Price just went up. WAY up.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: Did you know Ursula Andress's voice was dubbed? They didn't like her accent!
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: I never had my eyes get that far up her body to notice.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: The knife was a little distracting! The American distributors didn't think the movie would be a success, so it was released to drive-ins. My small town had a drive-in, but it was the wrong season, so I saw it in our theatre. I've watched it at least a hundred times since!
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: Do you have the collection on DVD?
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: I had all of the movies on VHS at one point. The only one I have on DVD is Goldfinger, bought used. I am one of life's total losers. Never made more than $10 an hour in my entire working life. But I know a lot about WWII, rock&roll, The Beatles, Godzilla, and James Bond.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: Interesting. I am into WWII as well
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: My father served in WWII, from New Guinea to Yokohama, but my interest has always been the European front. You?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: European front and North African. I watch many shows and play flames of war,if you know what that is.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: Nope. I'm not a 'puter dude. My uncle was in North Africa. Suffered from shell shock, from the constant bombing, and lasted less than a week. He always had this weird neck twitch!
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: Flames of war is a table top miniature game based on WWII.
Was he discharged?
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: He was in a hospital for a year. Have you seen film from that? Bombing so constant, from both sides, it lit up the night like daylight. I might like a tabletop game. Wow. Never thought of that! Rommel was a genius.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: Was he at the Suez Canal?
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: No, he would have been in the early part of it, in the west. I don't know the details, I never really talked to him. He became a butcher. Still alive, about 94. How can I find that game? I could do that!
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: Battlefront.com is the website. It's popular in Europe and Australia. They also do ww1,Vietnam and supposed WW3
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@MrBrownstone: Sorry it's flamesofwar.com
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone: I'm going to look into that. Expensive?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@hunkalove: It can be. You don't need a lot to play. But if you want to collect yes. You could get a company for about $250
