No, but I have a favourite film from the 20s, both American and Soviet

What are they Dan? :-)

@NigelDoes: Battleship Potemkim for the Soviet one (it's a propaganda film, but I quite enjoyed it nonetheless), and the Passion of Joan of Arc for the other one (which, now that I think about it, might have actually been a French movie rather than an American one)

Thanks dude! Wrote those down. I love old films. Have you ever seen a 1932 film called "Freaks"?
SW-User
No I haven't. But I found both of the movies I said on Youtube, of all places, so no doubt it'll be there too

Sadly, there's only a very low res version of it. It was a hugely controversial film when it was released and was banned in certain countries.

How come?
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
Google it. I suck at explaining film plots. hehe
SW-User
Maybe I will later on

@NigelDoes: "Freaks" is such an interesting film.

It truly is. I actually just re-watched it last night.
