What movie do you think most captures the essence of New York City?

I was just watching Rent and there was a scene on a subway that really reminded me of those days. I think there are many. The Warriors comes to mind too.

@BettyBeez I grew up near Coney Island and I never saw it that deserted but it wasn’t the only movie showing Coney Island deserted. I also never saw a gang of roller skating tough guys! I still loved it.
