@LILY61 Aww thank you, that is so kind of you. My dad's death was a gift of a sort in that he passed at 78 in pretty great shape I might add. He died on the operating table in an operation to remove a tumor in his esophagus. He had Barrets which is cancer of the esophagus which I learned is caused by digestive disorder. 5 years ago after his death I found out I too had GERDS and precancerous lesions in my esophagus, I was a tad overweight, I drank more than I should and had some flaws in my eating habits. I corrected all of them and today my GERDS is cleared up and the lesions are gone. Got an all clear from my Doc so I see my dad's death was not in vain, he sent a clear message to me and my siblings that his death could have been avoided, he just found out too late to undo the damage that had happened. Sorry did not mean to toss out a downer, just a fact of life is all. Hope you have a fab day today.
