Agreed, he decided to take the helm way too much and that only put the series into a pit of sadness and "Copy/paste" kids shows.

He should've taken notes from Gene Roddenberry, he just made the universe and let the writers and directors do the talking, only helping with "Technical assistance"

I'm just curious.
How stupid do you have to be to watch the original three movies from 30+ years ago. And think.....OK, I get it !
Have it sit in your memory or conscience as a legitimate work of art.
To then havea several Prequels made only to THEN be told that the order in which you watch them is now different ?

Fun fact: The Wachowski Brothers had to change the script several times due to pressure from the Studio saying it was "too complicated for the general audience".
In the original script the humans were used for processing data (creating the matrix) rather than a raw energy source (which made no fucking sense).
And the first movie was technically amazing. The other two - at least for me - were just there to tie the end together.
