I just wonder why not

I got the new 47 meters down movie. I seen it is 90 mins long. So that is about hour and 30 mins long. I look at a bunch of my horror movie's they are all a hour 30 or 40 mins long. So I wonder why can't they make a 2 hour or longer horror movie?

Longer horror movies means that you need more ideas unless you want to be overly repetitive. That's why a lot of good movies build on plot, storytelling, and dialogue
