He has the sauve, looks, accent and acting abilities to make a great James Bond. I personally do not prefer to change the ethnic background of major iconic characters.

I agree but I looked into the James Bond franchise and the James Bond and 007 name are supposed to be a code name given to the replacing agent do it would be fine otherwise I wouldn't be for changing his race or ethnicity for no reason.@REMsleep

@Master5dad I wasn't aware of that but to me it doesn't really change anything because I think that for most people James Bond is one guy based of the books about that particular agent.I was actually thinking that Idris could be another agent with a different code name.
