What is your real favorite movie, and what do you say is your favorite movie if you’re trying to impress someone?

oh brother Were Art thou, The Cohen brothers doing an actual comedy that has a good ending a plot related to the odyssey. and George Clooney back when he actually did acting.

Maybe that's where i've gone wrong all my life. I dont try to impress people with my poor movie choices.

Hot fuzz is always my easy answer. I know I like other movies more, but right this second, I'm not sure. Donnie Darko and the princess bride are pretty great.

It’s not my only favorite, but I really liked the movie “Summer of Sam.” When people ask, I give them one of my other favorites (usually “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”)

Man, that's a tough one. I love The Odd Couple though. :) That movie never fails to cheer me up.

Ha ! I have a list of about five that I’d classify as “favorites”. The actual number one is “Chariots Of Fire” but I might mention “The Godfather II” for the ‘cool’ factor. It’s also on the list. 😃

Mulholland drive. I don't try to impress anyone so I say Mulholland Drive. Or Love Exposure. I like them both the same.

The same either way.

The Mission and Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet hard to separate. Have watched both maybe 10 times.

I do have many favorite movies, but THE favorite movie since I first saw it is The Green Mile.
