Is it creepy for an ex patient to give their old doctor a gift such as an iPod 📱 with a special playlist explaining my side of the story? It’s been fi

It’s been five years since he was my doctor and I just can’t face him unless I get to say my side of the story through music! Or should I just take their gossip and scorn and mistreatments whenever I go to the ER! And never have my say!

That's very sweet of you. But don't feel obliged to spend money gifting them.

You can write your story in words, attached to music, explaining your intentions and send it in email. It will help them more understand your needs and they can read it according to their schedule.

It's possible that there is no gossip about you in the ER. I assure you, they don't have the time to discuss things that are not relevant to your treatment. And they aren't allowed to, the chief resident would object since it can escalate to harassment and is bad for the hospital's image.

Concentrate on your mental well being, give yourself a lot of love and have someone listen to these fears.

He might feel much more comfortable just knowing you got the help you need. It will be obvious to him.

@Pfuzylogic It's my whole story about how I fell, and was redeemed and born again and became the apple of Gods eye and faced my demons and faced my worlds and started hearing heaven then sinned to my shame because of demon possession where I can't face them I wanted them to know the whole story it's a good story beneficial for learning how not to fall.

@saintsong Praise God for precious saints such as you and the Holy Spirit that came after the ascension of Jesus to preserve us in this world!
I know from my own experience it can be difficult to explain what’s going on in my mind to my psychiatrist so maybe it will help. I don’t think your doctor would think it creepy as he would know of your condition but if you are worried maybe send a note saying “I hope you don’t find this creepy I just need to communicate my feelings the best way I can so please don’t feel offended” I hope you get some peace from this situation as I know how difficult your condition is to live with 🦉

@YinYangOwl If you ever want to listen to it you can look it up under saintchantal on itunes for you 1 through 5, that is my story of living with schizoaffective disorder for you 3 and 4 and 5 are somewhat about him and my husband and God.
Thank you and I will look, it’s a difficult and complex condition. @saintsong

Seems like taking care of yourself is more important.
If you were to do that make sure you say that is why you are doing that to avoid mixed messages.
