How important is a film's rating on Rotten Tomatoes?

To an extent, and there’s a couple of top critics I trust in particular. Their opinions generally concur with mine.

I like watching some movies that have a really bad rating. So I can see just how bad it is for myself. lol

To me? Nothing.

It's almost always negative comments and piss taking on that site.

I watch them anyways! It doesn't matter to me. Some of the worst rated movies are the best!

Zero importance to me.

I usually never know that rating until after the fact. But I’m perfectly capable of loving movies that have been thoroughly panned by the critics and even the populace at large. 😏
