Is Lost in Space any good?

Netflix keeps advertising to me cos I like Sci-Fi shows. It looks a bit too kiddish though and I like things with a bit of depth. No spoilers, please.

I don't know. Really good sci-fi is hard to come by. Probably because the visual medium is not ideal for it in my opinion. Good sci-fi has too much going on in the background to actually express itself in 2ish hours or less.

@Burnley123 Yeah, TV series have a somewhat easier time of it since they might actually have some time to flesh out their world and their story better. Movies are harsh though. I suppose that's why books remain the gold standard of sci-fi.

@Burnley123 It's rated PG, which means the entire family can watch it. I'm a sci-fi geek, and the special effects are great. You will find some plot holes.
