@amrit19901990 Yes. At the end of the movie, just before the credits, we are told what happened to all four of them in real life. Marcus and Karl were never seen again. But it was discovered that Karl was a con-man who tricked many people into following him into the jungle looking for tribes that didn't exist. And sometimes taking their money and belongings.

Kevin became a famous photographer. And Yossi is still an adventurer. Still goes back to the jungles of Latin America and wrote the book on which the film was made. I did a bit of research about him.
