Why were the ratings for the Academy Awards Broadcast at an all-time low?

Could it be connected to the current politics of Hollywood?
Of course the Golden Age is past. Anyone recognize these Kings of Hollywood?

@rckt148@katielass You did get them all right. I think James Stewart was the tough one due to the angle and his expression.

@laotzu92 Yes, once I saw he said Jimmy Stewart then I could see it. Same for Gary Cooper. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
