Do you like quirky movies?

Well here's what I think...

Quirky movies kind of enable/empower social ostracism, because they romanticize it & its "champions", they create & maintain the social role of "strange" & "other", when what they should really be doing is being honest without creating a caricature of it, in order to deny society's exclusion of unique thought.
