I can't watch the first Dr. Mabuse again, I watched it too many times already...

It's about an evil psychotherapist who tries to build an empire of crime by hypnotizing people.

IT'S AWESOME

anyone else into silent film? particularly Weimar?

[I regret asking this already]

Seen a few of those, Fritz Lang was a genius. Set in the Weimar period is Fassbinder's Berlin Alexanderplatz, about an imprisoned pimp's readjustment to society.

@oneperson Delicious melodrama .... Fear of Fear, and The Stationmaster's Wife are noteworthy. i think i'll make it an RWF night too ..... have you seen GW Pabst's Pandora's Box? .... Lang's Destiny too is great, it inspired Luis Bunuel.
