Is Bladerunner 2049 a sexist movie?
I love this movie but someone suggested this to me and it got me thinking.

@JarJarBoom And most of the nakedness too. The point is - I think - to what extent is the movie representing Bladerunner society and to what extent is it inadvertantly representing Hollywood patriarchy.
I am torn here because I agree with some feminist critiques of movies but I also have a male libido. When this happens I think "Whooooah" but then think about who societal power manifests itself through culture. 😜
It is a good movie though.

@Burnley123 I really haven't read those feminist viewpoints on the movie so its hard to get what they are saying. The female characters in that movie all had a different type of role some were sexual.
