Is there something you saw in a movie that sparked a change in your life?

I started eating my french fries with mayonnaise after Vincent Vega told Jules that he saw people eating them that way in France. I was like, hm.. Not all the time, just sometimes.

hi DanielChristensen

sure I became a vegetarian after watching The Animals Film - it is a feature documentary film about the use of animals by human beings, directed by Victor Schonfeld and Myriam Alaux, and narrated by actress Julie Christie. The film was first released in 1981.

The Animals Film presents a survey of the uses of animals in factory farming, as pets, for entertainment, in scientific and military research, hunting, etc. The film also profiles the international animal rights movement. The film incorporates secret government footage, cartoons, newsreels and excerpts from propaganda films.

I did not want to be a part of the industrial exploration of animal life on Earth.
Best wishes

I have actually learned a lot about different health problems by watching movies. It has made me into a more understanding and tolerant person.
Serenitree · F
@cherokeepatti I've never seen it. I'll check it out. Thanks.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Serenitree While you're at it watch That Sugar Movie, it is a documentary made in Australia about the problems that hidden sugar in processed so called "healthy" foods is causing for people, here and there too.

After I saw A Hard Day's Night I wanted to start a rock band, and I did!
DanielChristensen · 46-50, M

They like mayo with frits in Morocco too, the French influence there. If I want to eat them with mayo, I mix sriracha sauce with the mayo...really flavorful.
DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
@cherokeepatti Ooh that sounds lish
SW-User
Yep, I started taking hormones after I watch Fried Green Tomatoes..
SW-User
@DanielChristensen Well I had to have a hysterectomy at 21 years old, so the hormones kept me from going through menopause..I could stop taking them now, but I am not in a hurry to have hot flashes and such..🙂

@DanielChristensen doctor has tried twice to put me on cortisone for asthma, my asthma is gone now that I started on a resistant starch diet plus not eating the usual cooking oils...have found out that canola and others high in Omega 6 fatty acids were triggering asthma symptoms on me...usually 30 minutes or an hour after eating anything cooked with it.

@SW-User I loved that movie❣📺😊

@waleskinder Most of the time, yeah, or just plain with salt and pepper.

Schindler's List and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas both had a profound effect on me ,
Like the effects of Sept 11 ,we need to be reminded sometimes exactly what we take for granted
so I watch them both again when I forget ,
I pray our nation does not get another 9/11 to wake up
that was a small scale to just what people with an agenda are capable of
DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
@rckt148 Agree. So agree. I watch Schindler's List again every few years. Want to keep its lessons in mind.
