If you had a Tardis would you travel to the past or the future?

Past so I could make better decisions which would make my future happier

This makes me suggest readers read [i]The Time Machine [/i]by HG Wells, a classic. The traveler goes to the past first and then to a very distant future where he comes on a society of people living in a paradise who are reminiscent of those who have all the conveniences but pretend they are in a state of nature. A cautionary tale for sure.
