Early Mornings

Don't you just love waking, coffee in hand as you walk toward the garden.
The sun is coming up over the mountain and your spirit is soaring.
Cool mornings, grass still damp, birds singing, feeling like the only one in the world.
It's so fine to look at my gardens, seeing the newness in every day!
I turn off the electric fence, make a walk around and adore what I have done.
Giving thanks to God for it all.
Everyday I gather veggies, do my gardening chores.. watering, weeding and feeling complete.
These past few mornings after my doings in the garden, I start picking my Raspberries and now the Blackberries are putting on.
As I walk back to the house with baskets of food that my own hands help raise, I can not express the joy and contentment within me.
Days are flying by, my mind is calm and thankful for this life of mine!.
