Sitting here on the porch, reading through the stories here and felt like talking. So I will 😎 It's been a wild month or so for me. Lots of highs and a couple of down and dirty moments. I finally got over the high I was on when my girlfriend was here. Learned from a few situations too! Then I finally got past .. whatever was up my butt.. I do.. do that from time to time. Not knowing exactly why I am in such a mood. Human I guess. My husband went on a three day bike ride with his old buddy.
Great Falls, Maryland They had a great time. That quiet alone time served me well! I'm still playing catch-up with my gardens. I am enjoying my fresh green beans and taters with my sweet corn. Fine eating!! My morning walk is something I look forward to. Today's photos... Morning Glories!
We have other visitors coming soon to spend time here and to enjoy the state fair in a few of weeks. Then I am off on my "Gang's" camping trip. I travel back to Ill. and set up camp in the hills down in the southern part of the state. Yup, a bunch of old ladies sitting around a campfire. Feeding our faces with sooo many yummy things. Singing, laughing and complaining and giving thanks for our friendships. Then.. in Sept. and Oct. I have more visitors. BUT.. for this moment, it is peaceful and quiet. I can hear the tweeting of my Hummingbirds. My spirit is finally back to normal...whatever the hay that means. ;-) It has been raining off and on for the past couple of days. I got caught in a down pour.. I was running back to the porch when... Hey.. this feels good. I closed my eyes, faced the sky and soaked it all up. Good for the soul moment! sigh... I haven't been on much these days. That's a lie! 😖 I should say.. I haven't had anything to say...prove... share.. That was there and this is now! Life is good. Ok.. back to reading you all! I like the idea that life is a spiral and even though we go back around to old feelings or moods, we are actually moving up to a higher level through our growing awareness and expanding consciousness, ever higher.

I'm going to have a good one too! I'm going to Virginia Beach to visit my daughter and two granddaughters! First time to see their new house. I'm so excited to see them!

@Echoing , her husband has been stationed at Norfolk for ten years, so I've visited the area many times. Watched them go from newlyweds in an apartment to one baby and a little house. Now 2 babies and a bigger house!
