Hope Takes Flight




I shall call her Hope,
though the hope might be mine.
She found me here beside you
while browsing here on line;
she tells me she believes
in passionate possibilities
despite long distance love
thank goodness; oh so obvious
and half my age, oh my
(as many of her other on line friends)
and with beauty undeniable
(in the photos she sent for sure)
soft curves in lightest Coffee
an angel of desire
with words like gentle washing Rain
she sends my spirits higher
and cuts through all the pain,
caressing my eager ego
encouraging my Wandering mind
through clouds of soft seduction
the promise above to find.
Above the raunchy skies of expectation
a flying fantasy Escape
to build castles in my mind
dreamed dreams mixed into day time
to a future promised land
with a new date in my Calendar
and perhaps the hope is mine
