I Dreamed A Dream

I had the worst "fairytale" dream. It was Halloween night, I had this princess dress (it was beautiful), and I was so excited to put it on. When I did, the people around me said it looked a little too big and needed something. So, I frantically went back to the store I got it from, trying to find the rest of of what came with it (I guess there was a petticoat and some other things I left at the store?), but when I got there, the store was FULL of people and nobody knew where my package was.

I was in tears and standing in front of a mirror just looking at my reflection. An old lady saw me, came up and said, "Here, dear. Take these. I want you to have them." And, she gave me her long, strand pearls which for whatever reason, went with the dress.

I was so thankful, and got so excited again. I picked up my skirts, and went running out the door. When I got out, I stopped because everyone around me saw me and just started laughing.

There was a photographer that was supposed to be my friend and laughed. He said, "Like he'd chose you?!"

I looked forward and saw a handsome prince laughing at me as he swept up a beautiful woman, wearing the same gown (but better), in his arms. His family was around him saying what a beautiful princess she was. He carried her down the stairs and I remember trying to get down the stairs, but the stairs kept getting shorter and more of them....

Then, I woke up.

Damn....that was depressing. :(
