I live in Oklahoma and sometime over 20 years ago we had northern lights. Some weird crap must have been going on. I remember someone taking photos around Kingfisher Oklahoma in a rural area and it was a bright green color. And the eerie light shining in through the closed mini-blinds.

Not necessarily that far north. I was in southern Illinois when I saw them. The brilliant colors had gone out of them but they were still beautiful
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
When you get up to northern MN you can sometimes hear them in the winter.
Redstar · 36-40, M
That looks really fucking cool.

Or the Earth needs to be sprayed with enough charged particles.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SW-User God you're so fucking dumb it hurts. Charged particles? Anyone who went to school knows the Northern Lights are created by gigantic Airheads sour liquorice belts slamming into the clouds above Earth. Which by the way are OBVIOUSLY made of candy floss.
