I get all of this. I also think the likes of Fakebook, WhatsCrapp, Instagrim,etc. have fundamentally changed the way some friendships develop and are sustained. I avoid Fakebook these days for this reason. I give friends a call to catch up. Just like the good old days.

@Ironicman I think people use them all wrong. I use it to keep up family abroad because time differences make calling harder than needed. But, yes, wheb it becomes becomes popularity contest, it's stupid.

I'm good at friends shit at dating.
My "guy life" friends I had for decades.
And honestly feels like my girl life friends gonna last 4eva. Only a year in really. Girl friendships are way intense tho and that's obviously dangerous.
