I Hate Chewing Noises

Yes!yes! And kissing noises. Drives me insane

Listening to cats drink water has the same effect on me. All I can picture is their too delicate neck and it somehow being broken. It is extremely disturbing and a thought that horrifies me so I try to avoid listening to my cats drink water. lol

I have a dog who sleeps in my room and whenever I am falling asleep sometimes I hear her licking herself it makes me so grossed

Sounds like misophonia. Soft mouth sounds... and noodles being stirred... Make me either physically ill or almost uncontrollably angry! Also swallowing. I can't even stand my own sounds. This is why I have music or tv playing during all meals.

Have you ever tried to explain to people that it is you and not them and an issue with your sensory processing and ask they put on music or radio or something before eating around you only to have them get super upset? Ugh. I have tried so hard to explain it to people and they act like I am telling them not to eat or breathe around me.

I have to either leave the room or turn up the volume on my music so I don't hear these sounds. I hate these sounds too!!

I know, it's gross, especially the dog ones.
