I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

I am getting loud annoying notifications on my phone even when it's set on mute and there seems to be no way to turn them off. Please help.

Similar Worlds notifications come from the website and not push notifications. Therefore it follows the settings for Media volume, which isn't affected by muting. The sound can be disabled though as explained by MrsNel.
