I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

It'll kill the site. People value their anonymity. It's one of the main draws.

This site is about anonymity ... Facebook is about identity ... Two entirely different paradigms

Verification eliminates anonymity ... without anonymity, the site has no value ... thus verification would destroy the site.

The developers plan to introduce a feature to verify whether photos are really of the account owner for those who wish to do so.

I too hate the fakery but it's almost impossible to stop on an anonymous site. Best one can do is keep your eyes open and be cautious with someone you don't know well.

Well once the system is in place. Itll be a choice by the user to use it or not. so if you don't want to verify yourself then no problem. But people like me i prefer a verify for myself because itll just make all the dumb guys ive dealt with on here thinking im some old dude living in their parent basement.

I mean ill agree that im still living with my parent but not there basement as for old dude well. I am not to bothered whether people believe me or not because im still moving forward while they are in a state of paranoia.. *shrugs*

Not all are fakes but you have to be careful. A woman on EP was bugging me to have a fight with her, read the 'about me' to get an understanding. I foolishly agreed. It turned out she really wanted a sleazy lesbian romp. I wanted to fight. I had my way and after getting her hands tied to the top of the bed I ended the fight in my usual way. I never did that again. It was foolish for her AND me.

Ive been askib for this since sw came out. People complain about anonmity but the system should have both. Those that verify with sw will have a Verified or a green check mark next to there name that theyve been verified. Others that dont, dont have to do it.

Seems to me anyone who is against verification is fake Why else would you be against knowing who you are talking to or others knowing you are who you claim to be? Obviously it's not about actual identity where anyone could track you down. It's just about being what you claim. Men get trolled by other men almost as much as women do!

I'm wondering what method could they use to verify people's identity from all over the world. Not knocking the idea, but not sure how they could verify people.

Nahh, unfortunately you will always get fakes you just have to be good at spotting them!

Do it like on Reddit. Post a pic of yourself holding a verification sign. The image doesn't have to be personally identifying it would just establish that you are the gender or whatever personal aspect you claim and that it is your handle that goes with your pic.

And kill the site..
