Not sure if this has been suggested, but can you make it so you know if someone has read a message you've sent them?

Also if you cannot edit a comment within 15 minutes that means they saw it.

I actually would not like that. For some reason I get message from people wanting to talk about politics. Usually abortion. And they always want to discuss the minutia of it. Every conceivable situation. After a while I only open their messages so that the notification disappears and I would rather they be left wondering.

If the edit icon (located at the lower side of the messgae) isn’t visible already, it means the message was opened and has been seen.
