have a REAL suggestion area, where people post and others vote and the highest one every few months gets implemented. you can even have a spot where you pay to vote to reduce people posting and voting on dumb stuff.

Although popularity is an important factor for the order of implementation of features, it is not the only one. For example, several moderately popular suggestions that are easy to implement may help the community more than one very popular one that takes months to complete. Features may also involve big investments in more powerful hardware that require the community to grow bigger first.

The team therefore can't always implement features in the order of popularity, so an automatically created ranking of popularity won't work and letting members pay to influence it would be unfair. The popularity of suggestions posted in this group, based on the content of replies and the number of hearts, is however taken into account already.

@Gentle153 understood, yet that means they still have to be gone over. And this way people could see what's being done. I'm not saying give all power to those who just output ideas without realizing what it takes to impliments them. Someone can still have a say over priority. Even if a page is made where the plans and improvements for the site are posted and the community can vote on priority. Anything to include and involve people.

That is how this group is used already. Feedback is given to most ideas and in the Admin Announcements groups you can read updates about some plans or already implemented ones.
