I Have Never Forgotten You, But You Have Forgotten Me

I was looking for Complex
lost long ago,
where was she now and what did she know?
It used to be somewhere, it looked quite like this
shut down together with the rest of that place

started my search
trawled the posts
hoped to find her, with few high hopes
slow savored journey - enjoyed new views
weighed new players and proffered new thoughts

tentative re-start
hopeful heart,
looked, but gently; renewed teetering steps
nonsense re-birth faltered, fumbled phrase
my recommenced fools errand on optimistic whim

So, researched for Complex
Nostalgic expectation
but, found so much more, sparkling new melody
wished for amazing rekindling, sparks for life
opened new options with offered new paths

and found against tradition
with incredible influence
without obligation or by open request
such care and kindness extended, amazing new friends
fast coming and going, each exciting new Complex
