I Speak Both English and Spanish

I hate Spanglish! Whenever someone talks to me in Spanglish, I just want to tell them "Excuse me, this is America! Here, we speak English. Or Spanish. It has to be one or the other, it can't be both!"

But seriously, even though I know English and Spanish, using them both in the same sentence is hard for me to follow. Confusing as hell!

That's annoying.
I remember trying to sleep in the train and people were talking in a mix of Dutch and another language to each other. With recognisable words and unrecognisable in their sentences it was hard to sleep -_-

That does sound strange. Do you suppose as Spanish and English speakers mix more and more the language will probably shift to more spanglish as kids grow up hearing both all the time?

I speak English and am learning Spanish...I would be very confused if someone combined the languages in a sentence I think 😣
Spanglish. I only use it when i truly forgot how to say a word in either langauge at the time lol.

I speak a little Frenish. I studied just enough French and Spanish to get them confused.
