Honestly. Not now. I come from a military family. But truth is ur fighting for what??
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
Not that I would have a kid,
But if I did have a kid, and they wanted to join the US military, I would feel as though I had failed them in some way.
I don't agree with illegal wars of aggression, war crimes, or fiscal irresponsibility.

I would support it, be proud, but with incredibly mixed emotions.

Today I would be supportive. Rewind 10 years when the west was starting proxy wars every second day.. no chance

Absolutely. I would, however, have them tell me their thought process

Now that my kids are adults, they can pursue their own happiness however they define it.

If they were 18, I wouldn’t have much choice. I’d be worried for them, though.
