Happy that you worked out who the Sub was. Now what about the Dom? What was the Dom's name? ???

@KiwiBird I guess that would be SIR Monitor.

There were two...if I remember correctly they were the Merrimac and the Monitor

@lucyyy Thanks...I hadn't seen drawings of them since I was a kid. Brings back memories of my third grade teacher who had a face like an English bulldog!

If I’m not mistaken, I think that there was a movie made about the Hunley. I could be wrong, but I think that HBO made it about 25 or so years ago. I know that I saw a movie about it, but can’t remember if it was on HBO or not.
I think their favorite was the "Spicy Italian on Italian herb and cheese with pepper jack cheese" non toasted.

The confederate sub was the Merrimack, and it fought against the union iron-clad ship , the Monitor.

@LongDistanceRecon636Actually the Alligator was a less known submarine and only the prototype of it was made...it was hidden in the muddy tributaries of the Delaware river, and sank.... And I know where it's at....near Camden ...just up the Rancocas Creek.
