Does the US look after its veterans?

Well I think I have finally shamed them enough into taking my health issues seriously ,,
When my doctor seen all the things my civilian doctors are doing for me ,,he finally ordered tests they have said they can't justify ,,,
He asked would I be willing to let him treat me and get all my medical needs back under one roof and in records they have access to
even my pain management they swore they could no longer do

He says now that I have proven I am not an addict
He has no problem dealing with that too

No I have spent a lot of money getting civilian doctors to do what they should have done ,,,

Now that I can prove its not in my head ,,now they want to be my doctor's

where were they the last 20 yrs I have been begging for help

But since I do now have all the evidence they can't dispute
and through them my health care is free
I may try it again
I was tired of fighting ,,,he agreed
This is why 22 Vets a day kill themselves
Tired of fighting a system that promised they would take care of us if we severed
We did our jobs ,,were not the liars

More now than it did. But we still have a way to go.
