Is getting American troops out of Syria and Afghanistan the right choice?

What would we have really accomplished if we stayed?

IF WE HAVe promised to support and stabilize those that have risked their lives to fulfill stable government, we risk any government ever trusting US socio political “support” in exchange for overthrowing radical government... kill them and leave? Their world needs to see in order to believe. The more we abandon, the more reasons “fanning of flames” we give the “radicals” to teach orphans to hate us.

I don't know. The U.S. government did major damage to both Iraq and Afghanistan. And after taking troops out of Iraq did that country face another threat which was ISIS for some time, Afghanistan might face a similar fate. As for Syria, I feel U.S. should not gotten involved in the first place.

@SW-User in general we should not get involved . But their are some very greedy billionaires that purposely create chaos to make money Thru war. And it is hard to see they are pulling the strings because it’s very underhanded. Psychopaths. Generational greed to use war to make wealth. Long long long history of this greedy unethical web of lies....it’s not American at all. It’s certain people in certain power across countries.

@Mindful I disagree I think it's ENTIRELY American !
War is the basis for the very foundation of the USA !
Whether it be against the Native American; The Brits; The Koreans; The North Vietnamese; The Iraqis; The Afghans (via ISIS or ISIL or Taliban....).....Endless conflict in the pursuit of what ? From whom ?
War is good business for America. People need to recognise that.

@Picklebobble2 THAT is the problem! That it is good business for CERTAIN people and certain corporations and certain lobbyists in America. But as an American I know that stories are spun to scare American into belilieving that there is a good hearted reason for war. And the people who spin those stories are those few money hungry psychopaths who don’t care about other people’s lives. Average American people care about lives. Generosity spills out of our hearts in our communities, it’s excessive even. But there’s always someone there to try to stop it. Otherwise... we would do even more acts of kindness in these nations rather than what has happened. It’s not upto the average citizen. Because the average citizen has been lied to for generations! ( and all those countries you mentioned ——have fiduciary benficiaries as well) No deal is one sided.
