My friend is the serving in the army.

He’s quite depressed and regrets enlisting, I often remind him of his selflessness, but he just doesn’t care, he feels he’s a murderer that’s fighting for America’s greed.

I can’t really get mad at him because he’s actually there, he’s actually doing what he says, he just hates what he’s doing to innocent people.

He's certainly in between a rock and a hard place. Probably best to save as much as possible, don't start a family until a new career's in place and plan on ETSing.
