Army Enlisted To Warrant Officer

So I'm going to enlist but I'm weighing my options between each branch. The only way I'd join the Army is if I would end up becoming a Warrant Officer (flight). Obviously that's not something I can get guaranteed to me so I'm wondering the chances of someone who enlisted to become a Warrant Officer? Does MOS matter when it comes to becoming a flight Warrant Officer (say I went in as an aircraft mechanic?) What are the realistic chances of actually becoming a Warrant Officer and how long I should expect it to take?

It all depends on your asvab score and based on your score on it on maps then the career advisor will give you a list of job opions you can pick from then you pick the top five you will want if you pass the physical and everything

@Vgore0304 well I've taken a practice one a time the Navy recruiter and got a 79 on it. They said the practice is pretty accurate when it comes to the actual thing. I'm confident I could make around the same score on the real asvab. However job selection isn't what I'm asking about since you can pretty much go aviation Warrant Officer through any job. My question is at the bottom of my details about this question.

I wish I could really help out but from what I've seen before most people become a warrant officer by starting from the bottom and working up to being an nco

Your chances improve if you obtain a private pilots license first and even better if you also obtain an instrument rating.

@Stereoguy so I can get WARRANT OFFICER written into my contract? I don't understand how that works because from what I've seen there's a lot of stuff you have to do to become one straight up as a civilian.
