Since I've gotten to college I've made a couple of friends and even got a girlfriend. Both of which I set out to make during my first semester. But I still don't feel happy here. It just feels like I'm doing 4 more years of what I just did which I hated. It doesn't seem too much different from highschool. Honestly I really want to enlist in the military. I wanna be a pilot in the army but I don't know what to do. I want to enlist so badly cuz I think it would be so much funner and feel like I'd enjoy it more. What should I do?

Honestly, fuck the military. Do something valuable with you life. Go to college.

It's rare that I woud say something like this, generally my advice would be to do what you feel is right, but seriously, fuck the military. I could never in good conscience let someone join the military without first trying to convince them not to waste their life on something so utterly stupid and worthless.

@RoboChloe Though it has it draw backs the military isn't stupid and worthless. I've had multiple family members join the military and they actually helped them to get their degrees.

@LadyZhane Hitler had strong animal rights legislation and was strongly anti-smoking. This doesn't mean I will ignore his "draw backs".

A strong and largely unfair comparison, but it gets the point across. Politically and institutionally, Hitler was bad. So is the US military. So is any military, for that matter. At least, in my opinion.
I think you can enlist while you are in college and then straight from college go to the military and I think you go in as an officer. Plus they will pay off your tuition (If I remember correctly) It doesn't have to be one or the other. You should go and talk to a recruiter. There are a lot of different options.

If you enlist and are honorably discharged, you can always go back to school on the GI bill.If you want to enlist, by all means do so!Best of luck in whatever you do!

Really think about it and maybe get some insight from people if you have an ROTC at your college. Then if you still feel like you belong in the military follow your gut.
Best of luck.
Do not think that being in the military you'll be done studying. You will still have to do testing every so often. BUT if you want to do it, go for it.

Probs stay in college till you know that the word "funner" isn't a real word.
Do what you love to do.
